Alteritech began its existence in 2001 as the Managed Services Practice of Acumen Solutions. Due to its on-going success and expansion beyond the Acumen Solutions' clients, Alteritech was incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Acumen Solutions on January 1, 2004. That same year Alteritech opened an office in New York City and continue to expand services across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Alteritech solves IT problems for mid-market enterprises by providing assessments and security analysis, IT enhancements, hosting and outsourced support for IT infrastructure including servers and hardware, networking equipment and desktops.
